Car Show & Demolition Derby

The weekend of Fri-Sun July 14-15-16 , Camp Boomerang RV Park & Campground hosts its annual classic car show with a special demolition derby surprise!. Bring out and display your antique, classic, or special interest car at our car show this Saturday, and receive one FREE* day pass per entry (*$15 membership still required). Cars will be lined up and displayed on one of our paved roads inside the park. Enjoy our Saturday  slot-car races & beer under the party tent! On Sunday, Meet & Greet with our Demo Derby driver, Lucus, aka “LukeDog” as we display our Camp Boomerang sponsored Demo Derby car. Take part in the fun to help decorate and paint our Demo Derby car! Monday, meet at the beer tent at the Ionia Free Fair/Ionia Grandstand @ 5:00 pm to cheer on our driver Lucus and our Camp Boomerang sponsored car at the Demo Derby @ 7:00 pm

Friday:

• Pool and Hottub hours 10a-12 midnite.    
• Friday Night BonFire at Sunset approx 9p-9:30p, in the tent bonfire area, BYOB, bring a folding chair.  
• BackFire possible at Midnite in the Outback, check with seasonals during Bonfire for announcement and details.

Saturday:

• Pool and Hottub hours 10a-12 midnite.    
• 3rd annual Retro/Classic/Antique car/golfcart/truck/vehicle show on the main Boomerang Boulevard, time 11a– 3p.  Get one FREE* day pass with the entry of an antique, classic, or special interest car into our car show (*$15 membership still required). 

• Slot-car Races & Beer at 7pm under the Party Tent . Join our “pit crew” by wearing your favorite race car attire and race your favorite car on our slot-car track. Enjoy some free beer while you watch the races!

• BackFire possible at Midnite in the Outback, check with seasonals during Cocktails for announcement and details.

Sunday:

• Pool and Hottub hours 10a-12 midnite
• Java & Jazz coffee, 9a-11a, site nmbr 219 , bring a folding chair and a coffee mug. 

• Meet & Greet our Demo Derby driver –  Lucus “LukeDog” –  1pm at the party tent, followed by painting and decorating our Camp Boomerang sponsored Demo Derby car 

• Card games at approx 2p in the party tent host by Sunday Seasonals. 

• Sunday B-dance/teadance 4pm – 7:00 pm. Enjoy music by the pool
   

Monday:

• Watch Lukedog in action at the Demoliton Derby at Ionia Free Fair Fairgrounds Monday Night!  317 S Dexter Rd, Ionia, MI 48846. The Fair is free, however parking at the fair is $10 per day, and is next to and behind the fairgrounds, but not at the grandstand itself.  Meet at the Fair’s beer tent @ 5pm  Demo Derby starts @ 7 pm (or maybe 6pm – fair website says both times) at the Ionia Grandstand a short walk from the Beer Tent.  Follow the link below for tickets ($15) if you buy in advance be sure to get Monday Derby tickets on their website and not Sunday Derby tickets, there are 2 different derby days and tickets are not interchangeable https://ioniafreefair.com/event/demo-derby-monday/
